Every year, the NSLI-Y Alumni Representative Workshop is held at American Councils’ headquarters in Washington DC. American Councils is a non-profit organization that facilitates NSLI-Y with State Department funding. At the end of my winter break, I had the opportunity to fly to Washington DC and attend this two/three day workshop with seventeen other representatives across the nation. After I returned to school, I decided to write an NSLI-Y Interactive story to recap my experiences from the workshop and share with other alumni, students, and families what it means to be an NSLI-Y Alumni Representative. I encourage you to take a look!
